Based on my book, tessellation is a repeating pattern of figures that completely covers a plane without any gaps or overlaps. Tessellations are also called tillings.

You can use a simple picture editing, such as paint. But I recommend to use a Win7 Paint. Its more customizable.

Wndows 7 Paint Interface

Steps:

• Open your paint (of course you have to )
• Use combination of shapes if you want make tessellations from the available shapes from paint

• Before make the tessellations, better if you color it.
• After you color it, lets make the tessellation. Use the select method -> transparent selection

• Select the picture then copy-paste it to make a tessellation
• You can re-size, rotate, and flip it.

• Copy paste it to fill your tessellation, like this :

• Finish. You can save your tessellation or make a new tessellation again

Agak menyusahkan menurutku bila mencari sisi – sisi segitiga menggunakan cara itu. Misalkan… salah satu sisinya adalah 6 dan 8. Sisi yang lainnya?

a²+b² = c²

6²+8² = ?

36+64 = 100

Ada beberapa step dan jujur, menurutku itu agak ribet buat seorang Dinda yang pemalas ini. Lebih baik inget – inget aja deh angka – angka penting ini. Agak mudah untuk mencari sisi – sisi segitiga.

Perbandingan – perbandingannya… cari saja yang mungkin adalah kelipatan mereka. Sesuaikah? Berarti ini jawabannya.

Sisi 1 dan sisi 2 bisa berperan sebagai alas ataupun tinggi. Dan juga angka pada sisi miring harus lebih besar daripada sisi – sisi lainnya. Jangan lupa : Hanya berlaku untuk segitiga siku – siku.

• Characteristics

The characteristics of  passive voice are

1. The object of an active sentence becomes the subject of the passive sentence
2. Intransitive (don’t use object) verbs like happen, seem, etc can’t be used in the passive voice

• How To Make a Passive Voice?

Follow this steps…

1. Find out the tenses of the sentence to make the to be
2. Change the object of the active sentence become the subject of the passive voice
3. Check the subject, is it plural or singular? It’s to make the to be too

• Pattern

The pattern of the passive voice is

Subject + to be + Past Participle (Verb 3)

• Example

1. Simple Present (Subj + verb + obj)
   

I drive a car becomes A car is driven by me

1. Present Continous (Subj + to be + verb + ing + obj)
   

I am driving a car becomes A car is being driven by me

I can get an explanation here. I(subj) am(to be) driving(verb + ing) a car(object), its in active voice… why A car is being driven by me as a passive voice from this?

A car is change from an object in active becomes a subject in passive.

is is a to be of the car

being driven is a verb. We must add being in this tense. Why?? I don’t know better if you ask my sister class… haha…
